    AEM load calculations?.

Hello all, I've bought an AEM series 1 to have a play about with.

Trying to get my head around the software at the moment and intend to run the GM maf still with Maf-t.

I've set it up for Maf, with Load Percentage on my fuel map. It's my understanding that the Maf input will just alter position of the Load row on the fuel and ignition maps but does it do anything else in the background to alter the fueling as well?.

Also is there any newbie traps that I will fall into, common problems?. Been through all the sensor setups and all seems as it should. Bear in mind I'm running PTE 1200s so not looking forward to an easy ride!.

    Cheers!.

Unfortunately I don't have any experience with the V1 & MAF, the majority of AEM EMS users use SD.

You could try to get in touch with DG about using a maf. Might be some helpful information on his site as well: Far North Racing - Stealth - Programming the Mitsubishi MAF with the AEM EMS

I used his working out on the maf scaling to make some tables for reference, very helpfull!.

Would like to keep the GM maf if possible..
