    That's for early 5 speeds. The 6 speed you fill level with the bottom of fill plug

    Ordered a bunch of parts for the car. I think this might be the last order haha.. Shifter boot, exhaust cat bracket, hose clamps, vacuum clips, door light switches, light covers for doors, carpet mat clips, audio knobs, rear diff fill and drain plugs. To name a few lots of little things. Need to drop off the new a pillar covers to Matt, and some other small things.

    Spring is coming soon.

    Sitting here in Munich... meh

    Should be headed home around the 13th he might have it done by then. I'm grateful to have someone like Matt close by, as I do not think I could have gotten the last 10% done myself too much travel. Just got off the phone with him, he started her up no leaks. Just need to finish tracking down some odds and ends.

    Anyone have an idea what would cause the digital climate control to revert back to it's default setting when you turn the key on and off? Never had this issue with the car until now the DCC had been rebuilt before I parked it was working fine. All controls work fine just goes back to defaults. The button lights need to be fixed, the bulbs seem to have burned out, or they are not making good contact since I had to unsolder the LEDs the guy before me put in caused issues. The pads might need to be touched up.

    *** Matt figured it out you ahve to set it and then it holds the settings. He checked all the circuits to be sure no issues.

    Does the radio forget its memory too? Check the ignition off draw fuse. IOD

    I had that issue as well, it was blowing a fuse but Matt said that is no longer an issue.

    Well DCC holds settings now, just a fluke.

    I took my trans to Jeffs guy in Detroit, he replaced the sync on 3rd gear. Matt tried to put her in reverse and there is no reverse. I had the shifter out and the cables were disconnected. Is there any adjustment for the reverse? There is no grinding or anything like that, he just can't find it.

    have you tried putting the trans in first and letting the clutch out enough to move the gearset a little?

    I'm in Germany, Matts working on it. He said the forward gears work fine. Just not going into Reverse (can't find it). The shifter and all that was out so it's probably out of whack. He said the thing rests between 1 & 2 instead of between 3 &4.

    Hans suggested he pull up the shifter under the hood and push forward to check the reverse detent. Matt didn't have time tonight, hopefully he can give it a look tomorrow but I think he has work.

    I'm just sitting in Germany freaking haha.. oh the joys... I'm sure it's something minor.
