    Hoop Spoiler install Location

have a 91 TT that the PO ditched the banana on and put a low mount non AA wing on (which is for sale if anyone wants it ) Anyway, prefer the hoop spoiler since the car has a complete 2g 3k conversion. Since his install was...questionable on quality, I'm hoping somebody has measurements, or can get measurements on how far back on the hatch the holes should be for proper install. Want to make sure to install it right and that's straight across and such.

While I can wing it (see what I did there?) I'd rather do it right. A measurement down the inside of the hatch to the bolt locations would suffice if nobody has theirs off currently. Once the center section is drilled and mounted, I can just align the side caps to that.

I'd appreciate it. I'm not in a rush since I finally have the rear hatch sealed up and all the old holes filled. Going to try to get the motor wrapped up first before worrying about it. But, better to have the information before I start drilling

The holes are already outlined on the hatch. You just have to drill them out.

I enjoy blaspheming on a regular basis. And also, seems like most folks anymore have the low mounted (whether NA or AA) or the combat. 3 years of Grill and Chill, nobody has ever brought a car with a hoop. Hell, there wasn't even a single car with the hoop at BRG.

probably because they got tired of it blocking the rear view.

Who needs to look at what they've already passed?

Also, not easy for me to look behind me anyhow due to some prior injuries, so double din radio with a rear view camera is in the future for the car.

I've had an AA and hoop and the hoop doesn't impair my vision. I actually like it because you can use it to block out the headlight glare in your rear view mirror.

    +1 for the hoop sergechronos!

Is there a picture of this somewhere? I have a hoop sitting in my garage that I want to install, but keep balking at it because I feel I will just muck it up.
Your 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL is one of 4310 that received VIN numbers. Based on the order of the serial numbers, your car was the 2685th out of the 4310 that were made that year.
