I somewhat like it. I don't like the white theme though. everything seems to be white, and I like darker themes. Haven't messed with it too much, but I did find a bug in the alarm clock app.

If I set the alarm to say, 11pm, then switch the pm to am, when I roll up to 12, it stays on am, instead of rolling up to pm. Was screwing with me last night when I was trying to set my alarm.

Edit: Appears that if you switch AM to PM or PM to AM on any of the hours, when you move up the hours, it will not switch when hitting 12. If you go down hours until you hit 12, it will switch.

I don't have any complaints but I'm one of those older people that like it because it's pretty basic.
I thought the changes were kind of subtle. Nothing there that made me go "WOW"
Husband switched up before me and seems to like it better.

Looks like there is no going back. Replaced the cable so that I could put my phone into DFU mode and it looks like I'm about 5 days too late. Apple stopped signing IOS 6 which means I can't reinstall it.

Is there a way I can disable ap notification updates too? Everything I use works well enough as is and it seems new updates either don't fix old issues or just create new issues to deal with.
Actually Palm WebOS first introduced card-based multitasking WAY BACK when, then Windows Phone picked it up with WP7, THEN HTC used it for Sense 4, THEEEEEN IOS7

IOS7 uses styles already invented and developed by other companies and rebranded, the same way every other company does it. I do think this is a first for an OS causing Vertigo though lol

The only complaints we've seen are about the default upgrade color scheme on our display models.

Funny you mention the background. I couldn't tell you how many phones (apple, android, basic phones) we see come in here that have the default wallpaper on them from when they first got the phone. It's probably our demographic. We are the #2 WirelessZone store in the nation for activations but remain in the bottom 5 for smartphone upgrades.
I definitely can understand that. My dad is a perfect example of someone that never changes his background, let alone his ringtone since he purchased his phone years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if you come across customers like him all the time.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the wallpaper options Apple includes with it products, and I tend to stick with the stock wallpaper until I get tired of it. I was just hoping that the people complaining about the "overly colorful" OS would explore their settings and see what Apple has done to accommodate for this before they bash the product. The theme matching to the background is a pretty damn good idea.

For the record, I think the fact that the OS adapts to your background is awesome. I've had a few wallpapers on my phone (Android) that made it very difficult to read the icon text because there was no contrast.
You don't have to own an Apple product to be predisposed against iOS 7. On this very forum alone we see people bashing Apple all the time for the most trivial of reasons, yet they haven't used an Apple product in years (or probably even ever, for some). You can be predisposed in favor of Android or Windows Phone, and therefore automatically be against Apple products. This happens all the time, and I think it's a joke.

But you're right -- if you're not the one using the device, why do you even care? If anything, any innovation Apple makes will be of benefit to everyone as a whole because there's a good chance your favorite brand will make something to compete. I'm very excited to see where we'll all stand in another 5-10 years as the smartphone market continues to develop. As Greg and Isaac pointed out, there will be a lot of copying and sharing ideas -- but hopefully we still have a lot of new stuff to look forward to as well.
