I loved it. I think they have laid a very solid ground work for the series with several good season long story lines.

I loved the bit at the end.
 
The first introduction of SHIELD/Fury in the comics is with Fury in a flying vette just like the one Coleson has. I think having it in the show was the perfect way to end the episode.
