I loved it. I think they have laid a very solid ground work for the series with several good season long story lines.

I loved the bit at the end.

 

The first introduction of SHIELD/Fury in the comics is with Fury in a flying vette just like the one Coleson has. I think having it in the show was the perfect way to end the episode.

I saw it, liked it. However, I'm not sure they'll have a big enough fan base to pull off a primetime slot. Shows like Smallville/Arrow and such only seem to succeed on smaller networks like the CW, and a lot of similar shows fail even on that network.

Given the ties to the Marvel movies I think it will have a higher draw.

Arrow is also CW's highest rated show. While it does not have huge ratings the other networks have CW is not in as many places either.
