Blast From the Past. 9/10 I don't know why but I really like this movie. it was on one of the movie channels last night. lines like, "oh my lucky stars a negro?!" f*cking kill me. plus Alicia Silverstone is one of those girls that on paper I don't particularly care for but for what ever reason I'd snuggle so damn hard.

Most Wes Anderson movies are for a select viewership. I don't think this one is any different but I loved it. Excellent dry humor, very charming performances, another classic.
is that sorta the same schtick as The Royal Tennanbaums?

I haven't seen that one myself, but after reading a short synopsis and I could imagine it being about like that -- and I will need to watch it soon. Bottle Rocket, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Fantastic Mr. Fox (one I recommend everyone watch -- fine for kids, too), and Moonrise Kingdom were all fine movies for different reasons, IMO.

yeah sounds like it was. I tried watching it and I couldn't get through it. not for me. I found it unwatchable.

I thought it was a good fun movie. No 9/10 though
