Which reenforces my belief that Hollywood has run out of new ideas and can only churn out old ideas with a new twist.

South Park is hardly the litmus test for that. The entire show is based around lampooning current events & interspersed with pop-culture references--including movies/other shows. Even something relatively "similar" like Robot Chicken Star Wars compared to Family Guy's Blue Harvest--the jokes are different. I wouldn't call either of them a "rehash" of Star Wars though.

I do agree though, there's a lot of repitition in hollywood...but South Park isn't where the ire should be aimed. I'd take aim at the umpteenth remake of 3 Musketeers. Or the remakes of Death Race, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, or even Star Trek: Into Darkness--for using the same fricking plot device that Wrath of Khan and Nemesis did, FFS.

I wasn't refering to South Park, that's one of the few shows that does have new ideas.

Olympus has fallen: 5/10. Predictable action flick.....somehow I thought them trying to develop the characters detracted from the movie. Not a waste of time but glad I didn't go to the theater to see it.

A Company Man: 6+/10. hitman movie, not in the american sense, but a "typical" Asian version. It's a good one but slower than I'm used to. Worth more time than Olympus.

Into the White: 8/10 easy. WWII version of Enemy Mine I guess, slower, but I liked it better.

I watched RIPD last night pretty good flick I'd give it a7 out of 10 good action light like Ryan Reynolds and jeff bridges, and what else Kevin Bacon. Bridges and Reynolds work well together.
