Left California decades ago and I've not missed it a bit. Never lived in Texas, so can't really say...
Lived a lot of places, visited a lot more, and where I plan to return to and stay is east Tennessee.

San Diego has all the benefits of LA/OC, weather, beaches, girls.... and now, Duttch and Jan, without all the negatives of LA, crime, smog & traffic.
And have you considered Phoenix? It's clean, the weather's nice 8 months out of the year and the Arizona State girls are no slouches either.

I had a buddy that used to live there. Too hot, the Abus (sp?) sucked; the girls ,albeit hot, were like nitrous (most should catch that analogy) and both of my vehicles are black. Although San Diego might be a good option.

Flagstaff if you like the cold weather. I wouldn't go any further south than that in AZ (and I'm an hour from the southern border).

Well aside from the inconveniences in life and politics. How is California? The weather? The people? Being in the Army taught be not to be so materialistic. I'm more into enjoying life rather than busting my ass to buy something years down the line. I'm happy living in a trailer and spending my days on the beach as long as my car has a garage. Beautiful scenery and beautiful women and a good education.

Now having said that. What do you guys think?
