Ill get a picture of the obd port to confirm wires are where they need to be.
Error on my laptop didnt give me a code, said opening port, init sequence 2, sequence ended (or along those lines on the phone right now)
Certainly thinking there is a pin out of whack in this harness.
    Ah well, small steps!

Yeah that behavior is caused by the flash wire not hooked to the tactrix

Mmm, it's making and more sense now. Plugged in a 2.5L DOHC ECU and she fired up and had beautiful idle AFR's. under load she didnt wanna work. Sputtering all over the joint. Probably cooked the plugs, so I'll swap those out next week, in the meantime she can sit again!
    Shit picture of the rear

And a decent picture of the front

So yeah, 91 Harness (1G) into the 99 ECU

Also, you really don't understand how much I do appreciate everyone's input here. In a time where the car's been off the road for a year, then for me to brick an ECU and have to get the car towed home after the new exhaust.......well yeah, means alot to be getting help to find a resolution!
