    time for new wheels. thoughts?

deeply considering new wheels for my car. have the following considerations:

    1. must fit 2g tt brakes (both front and rear) WITHOUT MODIFICATION/SPACING. must also be able to fit all aftermarket 355mm brake kits.

    2. i prefer 5-spoke or 3-spoke. i'll settle for 6-spoke in a pinch. 7+ spokes is probably not going to happen.

    3. i prefer round, fluid spokes. (eg.) while volk SF-Challenge wheels are decent-looking, the spokes are squared off & angular--compared to the gt-c spoke.

    4. need to fit 285mm tires ideally.

    5. i like a fat lip (2"+) but i would prefer to keep as much of the rubber under the wheel-well as possible.

let me know what you got. please post pics. thanks!

I'm a fan of the Rota P45R in silver but that's my stylecof wheels.

Hey man you wouldn't like my Grids ... at 9.5" wide and +20mm they 'poke' quite a bit.

i'm ok with it "poking out". it's just the combination of 24mm offset, 10" width, and spacers = huge sticking out. not good.

I hear you entirely. I was hesitant when I bought mine but loved the look despite how popular they were. Have you checked out the Saleen wheels? (I believe those were the ones that looked really nice) ...or do those fall into the squared off group that you were talking about?

I have SF-Challenge 19" look pretty sweet in other colors as well, fit fine with 2g brakes not sure about fitment with bbk though, i'm running staggered so rear lip is present although not huge.

Other suggestions would be Gewalt Zevo II (pictured), Axxis Hiro or even Enkei's?

*EDIT* After reading your criteria again I realised you were not after the SF-Challenge look, my bad I only skimmed over your post the first time haha

HRE look sweet, not sure on fitment or pricing haha

Ill post again next week when they are on the car (after im done painting and polishing ).

Thats the one piece model, and of course they now have theyre sexy version 2's

Advan Super Version 2's might work better with a second gen, but thats big $$$. I just figured id chyme in as an avid 3 spoke lover (id own work equip voggard's if I could, but I impulsively bought these as ive never seen them in 18")

Oh and here are the version 2's

i hate you so much right now. those are my 2nd favorite wheel design after the c-ultra/zelda. if i could get a properly sized set of c-ultras & had a guaranteed fit; my gt-c's would already be sold.
