I was in the search for a 3/S again, I had gotten out of my last 3/S, my 97 VR4 and I figured, why not. So I was on the lookout for a cheap, NA, and worse yet... SOHC. I figured I would pick it up because of the reliability factor and because it would get me back in the scene.
I saw a for sale ad on the "other" site by a guy that lives out in Missouri. He was selling 3, Stealths, one of each, 1 NA SOHC, 1 NA DOHC, and 1 DOHC TT. I shot for the SOHC and inquired about it. At first it was odd because the guy was really puzzled as to why I was wanting the SOHC. So I asked for pics and everything and I decided, I will go with it.
I was in DC for a training and worked really hard and put a lot of overtime in at work to pick this car up. I tow dollied it home almost 17 hours of constant driving there and back. I made it home safe and have already started to do a decent amount of work to it.
It is going to Xcellerated Performance for the remaining work and it is becoming my new DD. Everything works on the car, bone stock, no CELs, needs exhaust, power steering leak fixed, undented oil pan, new downpipe, fuel line replacement and new clutch kit. Car runs really strong and just needs some small stuff to be running tip top. So far, I am glad I purchased it and the car cleaned up really well from where it was when I first bought it.
