as someone pointed out in the comments, this gets barely a whimper of the attention that trayvon's BS got. i'm sure the kids didn't know who the guy was at all--but it's still inexcusable.

the morbid part of me is compelled to point out the juxtaposition of a man who fought for our freedoms being killed...against a backdrop of constitutional freedoms/rights being eroded away on an unprecedented scale--the very rights he fought to protect. his death is perhaps the most audible message (for all service-members, past and present)...one that is crystal clear, "fuck you, and the horse you rode in on."
