Would you question someone if they posted a thread claiming they made say 600WHP on 13g's..? Same principal here. You guys can eat this stuff up if you like, but if you peel the onion you'll find things aren't as they may seem. 894WHP through a P-trim turbine at 27psi on a 3.0L does not compute in the real world. The real number is ~745WHP, which is realistic until you apply the absurd correction factor.

Further, it appears that "UPP" does not understand that there are 2 sides of a turbo equation, and chooses to continually only focus on one (the compressor). This is evidenced by the fact that he cannot, or chooses not to differentiate between the multiple iterations of 76mm turbos out there. There is a MASSIVE flow difference between a 76mm compressor with a P-trim turbine (64mm exd) vs a Q-trim (68.5mm exd) vs S-trim (75mm exd). The P-trim is essentially a terrible mismatch on a 3L, the Q is relatively choked, and more appropriate for a GN, SyTy or similar and the S is most appropriate for an efficient, higher revving (comparatively) engine. The 76GTS, as a I stated many posts back is an honest mid-900WHP capable turbo. Ironically, the same turbo in the YT vid he quoted as a "T76".

That said. I've said all I care to say on the topic.

You still don't get the correction factor eh? CK conducted the same test as the one I posted on a completely different forced induction car and got same results. It's mind boggling stuff.
You weren't answering my direct questions at the details of the chart you posted and it looked suspiciously like your car's uncorrected numbers.......Yes, I admit that I jumped to conclusions.......Since you were still not answering I continued to research and found the thread you had posted about it and realized my mistake. I deleted the post to not derail the current thread. Of course, I figured you would be getting emailed updates and saw the post. You have to admit though, your posts usually invite controversy and debate. By design or unintentional?

I re-read my posts in your thread and do not see the "attitude." I was legitimately confused about the thread. I even added smiley faces to my next post to help. You asked me directly for big td04 advice/opinion and I gave it. I think my advice is fair....because of the many members that have been burned by untested, new/exciting turbo combinations, I suggested you wait for the hype which is honestly IMO the best way for you to market your turbos and be successful. I do appreciate that you are testing on your own car and await the results. Truly hope they do well. (may even have to find some stock mani's for myself if they hit your stated goals).

.......Okay back to the regularly scheduled program......
correction factors suck, supra's rule, but math pwns, look at my shop car, get your t76 here

I can't be bothered to actually re-read this thread, are we sure it actually dyno'ed first of all?

I'm sure with enough research we can find where the dyno graph actually came from.
