There was a large thread about this on the dsmlink forums. They corrode when they sit with alcohol, and inherently water in them.

They corrode/rust. Its why they made the new 1300cc injectors with stainless internals. I have ID2000's on my Evo, and have had to send them back twice to get them fixed. I have learned to "pickle" them with 91 now if they are going to sit for a extended amount of time. Haven't had a issue in 2 years since then.

If they were stuck its best to send them back, even if they start working again.
