DriveShaft Carrier Bearing Support Bushing Question

Hey guys,

Quick question, I am installing a set of Torque Solution drive-shaft carrier bearing support bushings to try to eliminate some "clunk" in the drive train. I have never dropped the drive-shaft before but feel that I am missing some pieces. These rubber bushing are the only thing that were installed, I believe I have read something about spacers in the past that go on the studs above the bushings. Am I missing something? If so is there somewhere to source them? There were some "shortcuts" taken by previous owners and Im trying to get everything up to par.

The "spacer" is that metal sleeve, there should be a side with a lip on it. the lip goes up towards the car body. The rear sleeves should have a taller lip on them also.

So there is no need for any spacer with the torque solution ones? All 4 of the new ones are the same thickness.

I thought you still use that sleeve with the lip on it. I would ask someone who has used the bushings before.

I just recently installed mine. you cannot use the metal sleeve with the torque solution bushings unless you drill them out for the sleeve to fit but i dont see a reason to do so.

it looks like your oem ones are missing the rubber insulators/spacers on the top/frame side of the carrier bearings.

So there is no need for any spacer with the torque solution ones? All 4 of the new ones are the same thickness.
