    From 16personalities:

    Your personality type: INTP.

    Breakdown of preferences: Mind - Introverted (7%), Energy - Intuitive (9%), Nature - Thinking (35%), Tactics - Prospecting (20%), Identity - Turbulent (15%).

    From humanmetrics:

    ESTJ
    Extravert(11%) Sensing(38%) Thinking(1%) Judging(22%)

You have slight preference of Extraversion over Introversion (11%)
You have moderate preference of Sensing over Intuition (38%)
You have marginal or no preference of Thinking over Feeling (1%)
You have slight preference of Judging over Perceiving (22%)

This explains why I don't get along with myself.
I'm gonna use my INTJ Judgement and judge you here. Based on my personal experience you are certainly introverted, but perhaps less introverted than me (and certainly much less introverted than Lisa!) - I'll also lean towards you being more of a perceiver than a judger because you're actually a good person. Judgers just pretend to be good people, but we're secretly mocking everyone on the inside.

looks like i am a solid extrovert (shocker), i ride the line closely between intuition and sensing (observing)... good mix!, i am moderately more feeling than thinking (most wouldnt assume that), and moderately more judging than perceiving which im not sure i agree with... i think im fairly perceptive.

im curious what you all have to say about it
ENFJ, huh? My little brother is an ENFJ. He always has some global, humanitarian, environmental (or otherwise) cause that he is championing and telling everyone about. He also gets flustered and red in the face if I browbeat him in debates with logic.

    ENFJ

It is said that your center two functions define how you take in the world - your temperament . NFs are known as "Idealists" while NTs are known as "Rationalists". Perhaps you want everyone to be good, and end up getting burned if you find out they aren't. Idealists, NFs, are often focused on how the world should be as opposed to how it is and are seek harmony in the world. People in the ENFJ archetype often truly feel anxiety when people around them are unhappy or going through hard times.

Ever get frustrated that some people just wont follow your logic? Well, it's because their brains just work differently! If you are able to get to the essence of how they take in the world and interpret data then you can adjust your message to improve communication.

That's really a key difference between the ISTJs and ISTPs that I've met in real life. ISTPs will judge someone but end the conversation with "Well, as long as they are happy wearing sweatpants and a wifebeater in public then I'm happy."
I guess it depends on the situation. If I'm in a situation where there's some expectation of a standard, and I feel the standard hasn't been met, I won't give them the benefit of the doubt. If I'm shopping in a Walmart, there is no expectation of a standard, so I won't judge anyone in that situation.

Well the mayers bridge(that's what this is right?) consists of 16 personality types. So 7% is not a low number at all for a given personality type.

This. 7% is actually on the high end...and the distribution among the 16 types is NOT even at all.

God it's been almost 15 years since we covered MBTI in college. I think I'm slightly less extroverted now, that's changed. I think I also used to be an F or a J bitd. Having a paradigm shift in 2006 really changed me.

Reading the wiki page also came up with this:

"Those types who prefer perception show the world their preferred perceiving function (sensing or intuition). So SP types tend to appear to the world as concrete and NP types as abstract. According to Myers,[1]:75 perceptive types prefer to "keep decisions open"."

So essentially....even despite my forceful, assertive (some would call aggressive) style of presenting and arguing my opinions--I'm not closed minded. Seeing as how that's poorly understood by pretty much everyone I know, I guess I'm just misunderstood.
