Grumble, grumble, grumble.

I decided I was going to shut the pump down so I could close the basement up. Shut the pump off at around 11:30. Just went out there at 12:50 and there was already standing water about an inch deep. Turned the pump back on for now.

I'm guessing the lack of a french drain on a 100+ year old house is why the water keeps creeping in now.
