Only on my own car, spun a bearing because of it. Hard right hander in a race, Audi 4 inches off the back, Viper to the inside, smashed the throttle looking to pull ahead and never shifted to 3rd. 2nd gear corner, ran it up to 8600rpm at 22psi on 15g's. It never knocked, stock timing map too. The kicker was it was a right hand turn which should have put most of the oil on the pickup. It was all up in the heads.

What about 2 step? 2 step causes ignition retardation which in turn is really cylinder detonation to cause excess exhaust gases to spool the turbo... Not sure what effects 2 step has on the engine... sounds like it expedites bearing wear...
Your 1993 Dodge Stealth is one of 6351 that received VIN numbers. Based on the order of the serial numbers, your car was the 5212nd out of the 6351 that were made that year.
Your car was built in the 3rd week of February 1993. Of the 47380 vehicles made at the Nayoga plant, your car was the 40537th vehicle to be created that year.
There are 281 other cars that were made with both the same interior and exterior color. There are 779 cars with the same exterior color and 2316 cars with the same interior color.
Note: The production order is assigned based on the order of the serial number.

let's see a log from when its last full pull. Aem logs internally automatically, right?

Also, the bi-metal bearings can in some ways take even more of a beating as they are actually stronger on the surface than a lead bearing and are certainly not ridiculous to use in a build. There are others using these, some running King bearings of this type with success (even road racing)

Not sure. In my humble opinion I would say the depressing of the pedal at low rpm then raising the rpm significantly would have the most ill effects.

Who put those bimetal bearings in? They are not meant for high power engines. Seems like the bearings just couldn't take the power you were making. how much power were you making 600hp?

^550 corrected at 25psi if I recall, so uncorrected more like 4-450awhp at the most is what the engine/bearings were actually seeing at the 20ish psi he was running.

nm................ still I wonder if the bearings were good for the engine making over 600bhp. Those bimetals are meant for low power na cars. They last longer than tri metal bearing for those engines, but not on high power cars.

I'm thinking more of a tune issue. I've ran generic enginetech bearings in a 500hp 4 cylinder. After 20,000 miles of hell, they looked new.
