STM car could go way faster with that weight and 550hp. it was quicker than gt-r with 380hp and shitty top end because of the turbos.

If you lighten the 3000gt to 1500kg it might stand a chance. Or add equivalent displacement. Not sure.
You must have never seen a 2 liter run 6's.

well that's true but they are also 800+hp and weigh less than 900 kg right.

more displacement means less turbo lag that's just a fact.

GTR doesn't even care if it has lag because of transmission.

seems like over all most people think the gtr takes this even with the 3s being boosted to equel hp do to it's better trany, but lets not forget that vr4's have done 10 second runs with under 500hp and also don't forget that as good as the gtr's trany is, it's not the fastest shifting in the world, it still take around 200milliseconds to shift so this does leave some possibility for a really good driver to shift faster, unlike some of the more expensive cars with paddle shifters that can do shifts in under 50 millseconds which is impossible for any human to match.

I was at Bandimere yesterday and watched a stock GTR run solid 12.5-13.5 and 1.8 60's. I roped it by over 1 second. On roadcourse I was down by 4 seconds before I swapped in the new suspension, BBK, and road race slicks. They run pretty solid 2:02 at HPR Roadcourse. I'll be head to head on Sunday with 3, a few GT3's, and several Vettes. I hope to make things interesting with a 20 yr old car that cost 1/2 as much. All trash talk aside I would trade in my car for a GTR if my wife would let me ignite another 50g's on top of the trade.
