I've collected a lot of parts over the years, now that I don't have a VR4 and I'm trying to self fund a business venture, I hope to sell them, even if that means selling them for less than they're worth.
I'm sad to say that I need to sell this engine. I love this thing. I'm tempted to keep it for posterity's sake but I've gotta do what I've gotta do
This would be perfect for someone who wants the benefits of a 2nd gen bottom end with the added benefit of extra low end torque from the 9:1 compression pistons.
Here's the run down:
- 9:1 Ross forged aluminum pistons
- 2nd Gen block (4-bolt main, forged crank)
- 1st Gen heads w/ Ferrea 1mm oversized valves
- Stock 9b's
- Stock Fuel
- EGT Probe port in the rear exhaust manifold
- Comes with an Autometer EGT gauge and probe
- Roughtly 15k miles on the motor since the last rebuild (lost the papers though so I can't prove it)
It engine was running strong the last time I drove the car that it was in.
180 psi held on all cylinders before I pulled the motor.
While the pictures don't show a plenum, it's only because I didn't have it on the engine at the time but it will come with one (and a plenum spacer from 3SX w/ bolts)
