For those who may be interested, my 94 supercharged 3000GT and I made it home in one piece after two potential catastrophe's at NG13.
Thanks to all who helped after my timing belt jumped several teeth when coming out of the first turn after some fun runs on the road coarse. Luckily there were no bent valves. Jeff Davis from Georgia stayed with me for 6 hours on the road course pit and helped me re-time the car and change my supercharger belt...not an easy job. Thanks for "paying it forward".
And when I thought all thing were good, Friday night my alternator died. Phil from Texas luckily had a used one for sale that proved to be godsend. I changed that Saturday morning and decided to call it a day and head home. Brian and Erik (I hope I have your name correct) thanks for the moral support, tech advice and spotting the "belt problem" . I was quite down in spirit Saturday morning and a bit unfocused during our impromptu meeting, so "Erik", if I have your name wrong please accept my apology and use this forum to correct me.
See you all at NG14
Dave Carroll
