There was zero warning. Normally a loose wheel has a wobble to it that is eveident in the steering, and prior to this occuring I had zero play in the wheel whether I was going straight, braking, or cornering. Literally one minute I was enjoying life and the next I was mowing the lawn for the track with my splitter.

probably should have gotten a real man to torque those things down for you. I'll try to come next year.

    Fixed that for you

And I would be remissed not to note that my splitter saved my front bumper cover.

Von's splitter is just awesome. Levi, what did the bolt heads look like after that? Did they get ground at all?

The front bolt heads were half gone but the rear heads were fine. I think I may have bent one of the rear bolts though. I need to get the car on a lift and drop the splitter so I can do a full inspection. After all the pre-NG work and the week of racing I am not in a hurry to get back into the garage, especially in this heat.

I so understand that!!! I know why my rear tires look offset, the alignment guy adjusted the driver's rear upper control arm, and it sucked the tire in. I told him I will bring him the car to fix that next week due to heat.
