Question SCE Center diff and fuel efficiency question.

It may be completely unrelated, but I figure I would ask.

If you installed a SCE Center, would you get better efficiency when driving highway? Or does it differ from 40/60 to 20/80 only in tracking and harder driving? Like can it sense it doesnt need to send the TQ to the front while it is easy driving?

Just curious. I know it takes less gas to turn 2 wheels rather than 4.

Nope, unfortunately it doesn't work like that. I'm looking for an article I saw a year or so back that explains in great detail differentials and how they work.

FWIW, the front wheels require a lot less energy to spin than the rears.

Even if it did...it would take the life of the car to ever pay for itself.

    Otherwise, definitely an awesome upgrade!
