E85 no start...

heres the issue, im running safc2, 550cc injectors, larger fuel pump and hotwired fuel pump, set to stock boost currently. have SAFC2 set to pull 22% fuel at idle on gas and push 12% at idle on E. switched to E last night and could not get the car to start on its E tune, cleaned the plugs switched to the gas tune and fired right up, drove it around, switched to the E tune and dialled it in. i park the car, come back ~3 hours later, car starts, runs fine at first then rough, drive it 4 blocks down the road, she dies, wont turn over. got it back home, cleaned the plugs, put it back on the gas tune, nothing, then i increased fuel up at 10% increments up to plus 30%, nothing, doesnt even attempt to start. pulled plugs and they do not smell funky. any help from my guys running E?

Can you smell fuel when it's turning over? I'm assuming the tune is off.

Put 5 gallons of 93 in, replace the plugs and try again

You may have to wean it off gas to dial the tune in , although I had no trouble like that.

Bought new plugs today. Was gapped at ~.028 or so for gas. What do for E?

0.028" gap is fine. That's what I ran to 24 psi on a stock ignition and 32 psi with a DLI. Having the right heat range plug makes a little bit of a difference but not a no start issue. You might try zeroing the SAFC out at idle to see if the car fires up. If my car was too lean it would sputter and not want to start on E85. Since you added more fuel and it did nothing you should try taking some fuel away to see what happens. Have you tried pumping the gas pedal while trying to start the car? If so what happened? If you do and you're able to start the car you need to dial a little fuel out because you were adding in more air to fire up the car.
