Hey Luke! Good to see you back on a 3s forum!

    Ride a Specialized Expert Stumpjumper.
    - Not as often as I'd like
    - Anywhere between 3 - 15 miles these days, depends on where and the terrain
    - Ride solo more often than not. Occasionally with friends. Must be hangin out with the wrong folks because finding riding buddies (or physical activity buddies seems to be difficult).

Used to ride road bikes back in the day, bu I haven't had one in ages. Back then, it would be weekend rides of anywhere from 10 miles to 60+ miles (up to 4-5 hours of non-stop pedaling).

I ride a CRF450R without a stock part on/in it. I used to do motox, but now use it for recreational enduro riding and enduro racing. Seriously considering getting a toned down bike as it is a LOT of bike to handle for enduro riding.

    Specialized M4 16.4 lbs

Tore ACL, partial MCL, so not riding as much at the moment.

Usually ride 1-2 times a week 5-7 during week, and 20-40 on weekend

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

    (1) Fila I think is the brand... $50 on craigslist Just some generic 10 or 12 speed "mountain bike" with big wheels (26" i think) cuz I'm 6'3".
    (2) Not often enough... maybe a few times a month tops, sometimes not even that much.
    (3) Sometimes just around the neighborhood, like to grab a burger on a saturday or something.... occasionally to the autoparts store if Im working on my car and need something.... but I'm pretty sure I could ride 50 miles if I wanted to. Probably the longest recently is like 5-10 miles on public trails...
    (4) Yep, when friends came to visit from out of town they rented so we could go out by bikes. Gone on a few rides with my family around trails and stuff...

Recently I haven't been able to get on anything but a stationary at work due to, well, working. When I get the chance though I hop on a very dated 45 lb Schwinn mountain bike if I really want to work my legs, but when I am looking for some good cardio that's easier on my legs I will hop on yet another dated Schwinn road bike and hit the streets. Out of curiosity though (for those familiar with the recent times), as I really want a new road bike, what are some good names to look for? I'd LOVE to find a used bike in solid condition so what are some good names from the passed decade that I might be able to find on craigslist? I'd LOVE to keep a used bike under 500 and a new one around 8-1200.

Trek, Specialized, Bianchi, GT, Cannon Dale, the list is large.

Search, find one or two in your price range and google for info...

I sold my Specialized Elise for $600.00, but have seen them go for $350ish as well

I'm familiar with Bianchi and Specialized. Pilot I work with has a Specialized that I think weighs in around 17-18 pounds. It's like riding air - absolutely amazing. Thanks for the pointer.

K2 attack- only paid $400 so I'm not complaining. I haven't gone on a good ride since I started college. I need to find some trails around the DC area so i can get back into it.
