I really hope everyone is ok, black smoke is either oil/rubber or some other petroleum product.

BTW, last time I saw a fire that big, it was a junkyard fire. Tons of tires. We flowed approximately 3-4 million gallons that night and had about 57 fire departments respond. The entire county, plus engines/tankers from 5 surrounding counties.

Good eye, it ended up being a 400,000 square foot recycling facility filled with:
    a) Wood Pallets
    b) Old tires
    c) Propane tanks

Who thought this was a good idea!? Seven fire stations from Indianapolis responded.

Well tire fires tend to happen from time to time "by accident". Basically there is no good way to dispose of tires and they usually magically catch fire and go away.

I have seen them cut up and recycled that way though.
