We are going on 1 year too!! How fast IS that thing? Are you going to a track this year?

Tomorrow we get to drive for the first time, want to get some miles before the weather really starts to suck.

I am not sure how fast it is yet. I have it set to 9.5psi and I am still on my 360's (i know my picture up there shows my 550's). Once I get done with break in I am going to make the trip to Dallas with the EMU and everything else and get someone to tune it for me. Then we can really see what it will do.

Also, I am scared to launch it. I noticed the the short upper bolt for the TC the bell housing is broke where the bolt goes in. I don't know if I am going to take it to the track this year. Probably not, I will wait till spring opens up.

I am scared to launch as well, but hard to get a slip without it, unfortunately. We just put 15 miles on today which felt great, albeit somewhat stressful listening for weird noises and asking wifey what the temp is and if we have any knock! I am a little rich though and scared to damage anything by being so rich.....

Keep us updated when you get everything tuned!

LOL. I have to watch everything myself. My loserness with this car has probably cost me relationships lol.

Seriously though, I have to work myself up to drive this car, and when I get in it, I am shaking because I am so nervous something is going to break. There is now about 400 miles on the engine. I want to boost again!! 300 more miles to go till I can put the full synth in and turn the boost up.

I am rich too, but I think it is because I went from the stock FP to a Walbro 255. Just barely rich at idle, it seems to be ok when under a load at 9.5psi with 0 knock. Although, my upper AC/Alt idler pulley is going bad, causing belt chirp, and I can pick it up on the knock.

STM is saving my ass again. Seriously Austin, thank you so much for all of your help.

Good luck! Fresh builds are fun, I've got about 17k on mine since 2006!

Did you do an AFPR? A hotwired 255 with the resistor bypass will overrun a stock FPR. I have a hotwired 255 with an Aeromotive AFPR and it idles 14.7-15.1 all day long. Might be worth a look.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” -- Author Unknown

No AFPR, but I am planning on it once I can get some more money in. The Walbro is hotwired, but I didn't bypass the hi-lo from the stock ECU, so I think the stock FPR is doing fine for now. I am not smelling it running rich at all except BARELY at idle, which could also just be no cats.

Hopefully soon I can get a Wideband put in this thing. I am fairly decent with how narrow band works and it cycles at idle about once every minute for about 10s, then will go to low.

Of course, the wideband will be before the AFPR. It still is running great too with 520 miles on it now.
