    But it sounds like an oversize load hit the (poorly rated) bridge, causing the collapse?
    if you cant fix it with a hammer...then you have an electrical problem

    That's crazy I've traveled that bridge a few times in the past. Looks a lot different under water.

    From what I read this morning it only sounds like 2 cars and 3 people went in. Everyone survived and is in stable condition.

    Could have been much worse.

    It was an old bridge that had a support beam knocked out of it. You knock out a critical piece because of negligence and these things can happen.
