Everyone at the company remembers the day the Federal Bureau of Investigation raided our tech center in February of 2010. Agents had pictures of the VP of Sales asking employees who were exiting the building "Where is he?" Shit man, you see this guy in the cafeteria every day eating lunch like any other guy and the asshole is brokering deals in back rooms for millions.

After having worked with some of the sales team, I can tell you that this is just the tip of the iceberg. There is a lot of shady business going on behind closed doors in the auto industry.

Sell you a part at a low cost here, gouge you on the other part. Drop the prices across the board for heat exchangers on a given vehicle model to close out the competition. Agreeing with competitors on prices with a wink and a nod when responding to RFQs from OEs.

Glad I'm not affiliated with that nonsense anymore.

yeah. price fixing has also hit the LCD display industry and--currently--is a big issue with e-books & apple. this is why i don't believe in pure laisse faire capitalism.
