Question Yellow TT Stealth... 15k too much?

I'm thinking I might go look at the this Yellow TT Stealth that's for sale locally. I don't even want to tempt myself cause I don't really have the money.. But I might take it for a drive anyway cause I've never driven a TT before

The car is practically mint on the outside except for some minor damage on the front bumper. Has aftermarket chrome rims.. and a big wing(would have to go lol). Other than that it's completely stock. He just did the clutch and some carrier bearing on the drive shaft. Only 50,000 miles on it, the guy said it's never been winter driven and he maybe puts 4k on every year other than that it just sits in his garage. Anyways he said he'll take 15k but he's willing to deal a bit then proceeded to say something about taking 14.7k lol...

Anyway I want to hear what you guys think.. do my fellow members think that's a fair price?? Keep in mind I live in Canada and I've seen people wanting 10-12k for a 92 TT haha

I'll go out on a limb and say unless it's a mint '96 with low miles, no it's not worth that much. If it's a 92 like you eluded to, it's worth a 1/4 of that price.

Too expensive IMO compared to what you could buy for $15K right now. $15K will get you a Spyder these days.

Of course, yellow TTs aren't that common so if you're super hot for it, go for it. But I paid $11,000 for my 94 TT with 47k, and that was years ago.

EDIT: Didn't see you live in Canada, don't know how that affects things.

Prices are all over the place in Canada, especially in Alberta, I've seen N/A's with over 200k going for 10k+

you might want to look around a bit before you even consider spending 15gs. check out the link. Even though vr4/tt's do run high in canada you can still find good deals.

Absoloutly not! Tell that man to let go of his sentimental values, and sell the car for what it's really worth! If that is miles, then you're looking in the $9,000 range... If that even, seeing as it has a huge shopping cart handle on it. There are a couple of very nice MINT 94's going in Vancouver right now for under $10,000. My 1991 R/T - TT only has 56,000 KM on it and I picked it up for $2,500 (electrical issues with a simple fix)

Yours wouldn't happen to be the one on Craigslist Vancouver would it? ...Man what I wouldn't give to have a nice looking 95 in my driveway right now
