Edit: I also used the bracket off my NA. I had posted a thread about it but didn't get any responses. I did make it work but I had to do some shimming or something like that to get it to work.
The cog changed so I would say yes, but they are off by a full Crank tooth not just a smidge. The mark on the oil pump is moved 1 tooth so you need to use the cog for the year you are using OR just mark your old cog for the right spot.

OK, thanks, I might have another question later. I definitely need to check on this more.

    got another question.

has anyone ever attempted to make a stroker 6g72 out of a 2-bolt? i'm trying to source a 4-bolt specifically because of this.

I think I asked Ray about this a while back. If I remember correctly, the girdle isn't wide enough? Something to that affect.

interesting. i had my suspicions that the 2-bolt block wouldn't work. anyone got specifics?

They are metal brackets from the engine block to the bellhousing.

so different transmission brackets are needed (i'm assuming that these are the same brackets for all 4-bolts, regardless of being bolted to 6-speed, 5-speed, fwd, or atx)?

afaik the brackets would fit 5 or 6 speed on a 4 bolt. They made the brackets wider to clear the wider engine girdle and oil pan, but the trans bolt holes should be in the same place.

3sx would know best about the awd atx.

4 bolt Timing cog OR re mark a 2 bolt, the timing mark on a 4 bolt oil pump is moved versus the mark on a 2 bolt pump

Of course, you could make over 700AWTQ and 800AWHP on a 2 bolt, so unless you are trying to make HUGE power, don't worry about it.

i would add a 4 bolt rear main seal case, lower timing cover to the list and a hand grinder. you need it for the rear tranny dust shield and the a/c bracket. i used tin snips for the oil pan dust shield. you need to notch it like so. you could use a file if you have alot of time, lol.
