Stock MAF PPS limitation

I've started increasing my boost and I'm having trouble understanding how to tell when I'm at the ECU's MAF PPS limit.

There's a MAF Pulse Limitation in the code. This isn't a physical limitation of the MAF itself, just an issue where the ECU will stop adding fuel past a certain PPS (Pulse per stroke) due to a 1 byte limitation in memory. Beyond this limitation, the ECU will stop adding fuel so be forewarned.

This limitation is 13.06 PPS or 319.7 grams of air/second (table is shown in the V2 xml). With a stock MAF, this is only about 450hp depending on which HP calculator you're using. This is coincidentally is about where the stock 3/S MAF also seems to run out of resolution.

Is there something I can log or calculate to be sure I'm not exceeding this number while still on the stock MAF?

Your IPW will just level out and not increase. I doubt you're maxing the MAF. It peaks around 425-450whp.

Ok good, thanks. I can keep going then, I'm only at about 350whp. I may not even need a new MAF if I can get to 450whp, not really shooting for more than that this year.

How much whp did your 118mph Stealth have? I'm trying to hit 120mph this year.
