Garbage.. Is what to expect from C7/Cianci

I think I'm posting in the right section, though I'm not sure since they are not a vendor here. If not, please move this thread.

I placed an order on March 29 for a Carbon Fiber Combat Wing for my car thinking since the swap to C7, maybe things have gotten better...

I called them a few days later (Around April 2-3) asking about my order. The guy on the phone (same guy I talked to every call, though I don't know his name) said that it was in the final stages of getting made, the CF blade was getting cleared, and it would ship out on April 9th with the rest of their orders. Lie #1. I also had asked if the caps for the wings were CF or fiberglass. He said they were CF. Lie #2

I called on April 10th after not receiving a tracking number, inquiring about the status of my order; if it had been shipped and if so what the tracking number was. The guy on the phone had said the same thing he said last time; the wing was getting finished up and would ship "soon". Seems like they like to tell you that line and rush you off the phone. Lie #3.

After waiting a few weeks (around April 24th), I had a friend (Sean) call to once again ask about my order because I was too busy at the time to call and they were way overdue for an angry call from me. I told him don't take none of the "its almost done and about to ship" crap, and he was informed of everything. Sean called, the guy told him my fiberglass combat wing would ship in a couple of days, Sean caught this and corrected him arguing that it was CF not fiberglass. (So hopefully whoever ordered the fiberglass one isn't in the same boat as me right now). He then said the tracking number would get to me in a few days. Hooray! The truth for once.

I received the tracking number May 1st and was tracking the package anxiously waiting.

Upon opening the box today (May 7th) I found the caps to be made out of fiberglass. "No biggie" I said as I pulled the CF center blade out the box next, stunned at how good it looked - at that time.

In a hurry to see what it looked like on my car, I lined up the side pieces and drilled the holes into my trunk and mounted them...

Then.. I tried to put the center blade in. With no luck at first, I loosened the screws holding the sides to just a few threads for some play. Still, there was no way I was ever going to get the center blade on; its warped too badly..

I am outraged that I waited over a month to receive a product that fits like shit and costed over $700. They will be recieving a very angry phone call and will either refund my money or rush me a new center section because now I have holes in my trunk.

    Pictures in next post.

It's not bolted all the way in this picture (thats why the gap is there), this side fits perfectly.

    This will NEVER bolt up.

    Bolted together on level ground.

    Close ups.

Almost looks like you have the centerpiece upside down in the picture. It's been a while since I've had one to look at for reference, but IIRC the curve is supposed to bow to the bottom.

Unfortunately, it looks like the fit will still be ass.

No, it only fits in the slots on the ends this way.

That is really crappy. They should really refund you fully if they want to keep any reputation.

If that is the case then they made it upside down.

The OEM combat wing is flat on top with the bow on the bottom.

I'm sorry for all of your issues.
