The HEAD honcho for dealing with sexual improprieties in the USAF...is arrested for the very same crime.

The shitstorm from this is going to get a LOT worse. There's already been a service-wide sweep for "inappropriate materials" which constituted everything from WWII nose-art to people-magazine. I have a very bad feeling about what's next.

As bad as this is, the poor reflection on civilian oversight will get lost in the shuffle as well.

The irony is it will get lost while the civilian overseers are having hearings about it, and that won't even be a tough trick.

They had all the commanders do walk-throughs of all work areas, heritage rooms, and damn near everywhere else to look for "suggestive" material. They made people discard all kinds of shit despite the fact that a lot of it really wasn't that bad.

I'm just depressed over the fact that I'll probably have to do another 12 CBTs on ADLS to give the Air Force a warm and fuzzy that I won't go groping on the ladies. Oh, and I'll have to do that yearly.

Do you mean to say your previous instruction on the matter of sexual harassment, while sufficient to prevent overstep on your part, was not so successful for your superiors, who apparently maintain a deficiency undiminished by the instruction they gave you?

In other words, they know the subject well enough to teach it and enforce it, but not practice it themselves?
