I have one that I am about to have powder coated, is there anything that could or should be added or done to it for flash tuning?
Like a bung or port that is needed for a feature that say a 3rd gen has but not a 2ng gen?

As far as I know the only thing the 3rd gen manifolds have is the port for the manifold differential pressure sensor, which would be used to have the ECU see/log boost, however that sensor can be installed remotely, it doesn't have to be on the plenum.

I thought I remember reading about that, thanks DK
Don't drill and tap the manifold for a map sensor. There is too much air turbulence and other chaos going on in there. Mount the sensor on the firewall and run a vac line to it.

Link to remote MAP sensor block please.
Actually there are three different plenums, which one do you have? Do you have a 91-95, 96/97, or 98/99? If you need a 91-95 I will trade you for your 96/97 with the MDP port.
April,
I have a 91-95 plenum.
Just get a gm 3 bar map sensor for $60 and forget it.
Yep, that will do!
