    Swype

Who knows what it is, and who uses it?

My good friend introduced me to it for my evo... I LOVE it.

New form of texting. It only works if you know the layout of a qwerty keyboard well. Everyone is saying that it's faster once you get used to it though. So far I've only used Swype on the Samsung Fascinate.

Faster indeed, I was honestly thinking of exchanging my EVO because I was not liking the keyboard interface. Granted the swype doesn't come with the echo evo, it still can be added.

It is out with certain phones, My wife's Samsung Epic came with it. I had to manually install the .apk file on my EVO to get it.

I've used the beta on my Hero and love it. Love it so much, it may be a requirement on my next phone purchase. Anyone have a list of phones that have come out or will be coming out with Swype pre-installed? Apparently they have no intention of releasing the final product to end users, only to manufacturers.

For Verizon the only phone it comes pre-installed is the Fascinate.

I think it would be foolish to not supply it to end users, I would be willing to pay just about any fee for that on the android market.
