Yes it is, a vary badass phone, which I can get for $80 but I don't use the features lol. I'm thinking about doing it though cause I have a Verizon employee discount but I would break it.

From what I can tell the Epic and Fascinate are the same phone, just the Fascinate lacks the qwerty keyboard under the screen.

My droid x has it. Switched to it when I first got the phone and havent switched back. only really works good if you're holding the phone one handed and not widescreen (buttons too far apart). Worked great with android 2.1, but when it upgraded to 2.2 its been mis-guessing my words. I guess it has to relearn.

Its on my Droid X...pretty sure it always has been. I need to spend more time with it and get the hang of it.

its on the new moto i1 too, I use it, its the greatest thing for big fingers and touchscreens
