Hey guys, so I recently completed my AWD swap in my n/a (built TT engine going in during the fall) and I had a lot of vibrations coming from up front when I hit the gas hard. I looked under the car and the TC was angled down towards the ground which I found odd as it should be lined up with the drive shaft correct? Well anyway I loosened up my front motor mount and when I did my engine slipped down and now the TC is lined up correctly (needs a little more adjustment in the rear mount) and most if not all of the vibrations are gone (as good as it gets with solids haha). Im thinking about drilling out the brackets that are on the engine so a larger bolt can fill up the gaps that are in the solids, have many people done this or had my type of problem with solid mounts? If someone who has drilled out their brackets could chime in and say what sized bolt works for the mounts that would be awesome.
