Tried EVE a couple of years ago and got extremely bored. However, I read somewhere they're adding FPS elements to the game, so I may have to revisit it. If they ever add Starlancer or more importantly, Star Citizen elements, man I might be all over that.

Not exactly. What they've done is create a new game called Dust 514 which is for the PS3 and which hooks directly to our EVE servers. The game is free and is currently in BETA but will have a full launch on the 14th with new and improved graphics.

Eve would be THE perfect candidate for a VR game as it could maintain the 3rd person view but add a 360○ of the entire battlefield.

Anyway, I played Dust a couple months ago for a few days and did NOT like the controls at all. I was able to play much better after hooking up a mouse/keyboard but it an ideal setup. It felt too floaty if that makes any sense but I would definitely play the game if they could tweak the controls.

oh the eve gate collapsed ? i think i caused that at the end of me3, regardless pretty good narrative and looks fun
