Thinking about taking Sean to Duke University Hospital?

anyone here had any experience with them? We would probably fly in and out...

Unfortunately we don't have any pancreatic experts in our area. Now that his pancreas has been hacked up, he's constantly in a ton of pain. Duke is supposed to be one of the best places for pancreatic issues.

Have you looked into Vanderbilt at all? If you needed a place to crash that's closer, we do have a guest room. It's 1hr 15min drive from my house.

UT and Vanderbilt share doctors and I think some Vanderbilt doctors came over. I guess I can call them on Monday morning.

Can't hurt. I've had family members checked out by Duke. They're the ones who checked out my grandfather and diagnosed him with liver and pancreatic cancer. They're definitely good at what they do, if you're willing to make the drive and can afford it.

It appears as if my bf's condition is rare...I'm lost and he needs to move on with his life
