Those are cool little cars. A lot to be desired aesthetically, but the performance is nice.

I'm not interjecting financial problems, only financial wisdom. Take it or leave it. Financing a vehicle is a poor choice irregardless of income. He asked for advice on buying a car, I gave him some. The borrower is a slave to the lender.

If you drive a car a LOT it can be cheaper to just finance it than fixing up a piece of crap constantly. I mean 30K + miles a year.

Debbie downers on financing...guess what...financing is basically FREE these days. You pay 500-1000$ over the course of 6 years to borrow 30 grand!

^Exactly. If you can finance the vehicle at a lower APR than you can return on investing that money, it's a no brainer. Even at a paltry 3% return, that's $900 annual, or $5,400 for 6 years. Subtracting the finance costs from the ROI is going to be a net positive. Finance 101.

Agreed. When I first glanced at the picture I said "someone fucked up their FR-S."

Whatever you do, dont buy a dark color. Paint on cars these days seems to be so much softer than in the 90s, everything scratches them.
