agreed, except for one thing. it's a LOT cooler to see a guy like marvin harrison make a massively impressive catch and casually toss the ball to the ref & jog back to scrimmage. anyone can "let their emotions go"--the internet is full of people doing that all the time (myself included on occasion). it's a lot more mature and speaks louder about the caliber of a person when impressive things are done and there is measured restraint instead of boisterous chest thumping. those are the individuals who leave the adrenaline on the fields of contest.

if i want to see screaming & trash talking, i'll start watching professional wrestling again.

sure it is but there's 2 things at play here.
1) you're talking about a guy that PLAYS A GAME for a living
2) sometimes a man's got to be an animal and bang his chest and shit.

thus far, disappointed...but not surprised. who says defense doesn't win games? this is looking like an oakland vs. tampa replay.

Denver's defense has been abysmal. Defense doesn't just win championships, it can lose them as well. I expected that Seattle's D would slow Denver's offense, but still expected Denver's defense to show up. Seattle has gone on long time eating drives, Denver has only had a few offensive possessions. All credit to Seattle, but disappointed with Denver's D. Gotta get stops. Only real hope that they have is getting turn overs for tds for quick scores.
