The Browns must be trying to stay irrelevant. Rumor is they are looking at hiring McDaniels away from New England. Hasn't he already proven he doesn't have what it takes to be a HC?

Norv shouldn't have been hired in the first place. Guy had a career 41% winning percentage before taking over SD.
I think Cleveland is making a mistake getting rid of Chud. Whatever they think will make them relevant again I guess.
Doesn't matter, he's a Belicheck guy, so teams will always think that they can hire one and get another Belicheck out of it. Doesn't make sense, but you see it all the time. People put too much emphasis on "coaching trees."
Am glad that Shanahan is gone from Washington, I think he is incredibly overrated as a coach. He went like 40-20 with a SB win with Elway at QB, and otherwise he is around (or slightly under) .500. Coaches are generally like QBs: They get too much credit when they win, and too much blame when they lose.
See: Andy Reid, Marty Schottenheimer, Lovie Smith, Jack del Rio, Tom Coughlin, John Fox, Norv Turner.
All coaches with around a 50-60% winning percentage. Which ones are still coaching?
Coughlin (54.9%) is head coach of the Gaints, and Reid (59%) is head coach of the Chiefs and Del Rio (50%) is a coordinator for the Broncos and was the interim HC when Fox (56%) was out with an injury, Turner has a 48% win percentage and was around 41% when he got hired by San Diego.
Meanwhile while Schottenheimer (61%) and Smith (56%) have not found work since.
Mods: 2g 3k body conversion, 2g Brake upgrade, Rota P45R rims
Projects: Interior sound deadening, 14Bs, forged bottom end, custom radiator and sound mounts
Black Monday continues
Schwartz out in Detroit
Shannahan out in Washington
Chudzinski out in Cleveland
Schiano out in Tampa
Frazier out in Minnesota
Did I miss anyone?
Not yet, but others I could see coming soon:
Kiffin and Garrett out in Dallas (likely to be replaced by Jerry Jones since the world's greatest owner and GM probably would consider himself to be the greatest coach as well)
Munchak in Tennessee
Have to imagine Fisher may be in hot water with the Rams, and Dennis Allen likely isn't blowing away Oakland fans. They may get another year, but fans aren't going to be happy with another year of sub .500 ball.
All speculation on my part, but Dallas' defensive failures this season are the biggest reason they didn't make the play offs, so easy to see Kiffin getting the axe (the Tampa2 fails in a league where receivers don't have to be afraid of going over the middle) and Garrett has likely out stayed his welcome by Jones' perception.
Munchak hasn't exactly made the Titans competitive, and they surely can't feel that he's getting them their moneys worth out of Chris Johnson.
Fisher and Allen are just a hunch. Most owners have itchy trigger fingers these days and expect immediate turn arounds.
I just remembered Kubiak already got the axe in Houston too.
No worries there, not a Black Monday firing.
Fisher and Garrett aren't going anywhere. Kiffen is going to be fired if in fact he lives that much longer.
