    I saw that today as well... I was bitching about it to a co-worker.

    I have to wonder what the charge would be that it has a statute of limitations... I know murder has none, and I "thought" manslaughter didn't, but I may be wrong on that... It's like they are saying it would have been a misdemeanor...

    In my opinion, if you kill someone and flee, it should be negligent homicide, there should be no time limit on prosecution. There should be no "getting away with it". This situation should be the example that tells people they will be pursued no matter how long it takes...

    I think a class A has to be pre-meditated, or intentional...not that running from the scence shouldnt ratchet it up a level
