Yup, after 750mi break in it slips in 3rd by 3000rpm. It was actually worse this time than before. The first time it held power through 3rd but started slipping after one hard launch. I verified with the car off and on that the slave cylinder still releases fluid back up through the check valve so it's not like like it's disengaging by accident.

Yeah I'm sure you could feel it in the clutch if it was holding pressure. You do have some slack at the pedal right? I like to have at least 1-2 inch before I feel any pressure at all so when it heats up it doesn't get too tight. I know you most likely know if a clutch is too tight but it's usually the first thing I mention if a new clutch is slipping.

Well, they came back to me today and said they saw nothing wrong. They could only offer that the disk was not broken in correctly or enough. I specifically went more miles this time with no launches. It was holding less power than the first one with the step height being further away. They offered to send me a different material disk saying that the kevlar was notoriously hard to break in. I went with their ceramic disk. We shall see. Might be more annoying on the street but at this point I just want to drive the damn car.

Hmm. I've not heard any issues with the kevlar disks before, but not too many people run them in the 3S world.

Anyone know what material the stock disks are? That is what I have ran with in the past with the RPS pp.

Got the clutch today and back in the car. Made record time for myself; four hours from no flywheel to start up. It feels like my RPS did but once it grabs it's super sticky. Never drove a ceramic disc clutch before so I'm guessing that is a common characteristic. Going to get some getting used to. They said 500-600 break in. We'll see. I really hope my suspicions that the PP was the problem will not be correct as I just want to drive the car sometime this year lol.

Have a few thousand miles on the new clutch material. Car seems to be holding the power finally. In the beginning it would randomly slip here and there. I think it may have been when the car was cold or maybe I was riding the pedal and didn't know it. Going to hit the track next weekend so we'll see how it handles launches and high RPM load.
