Maximal switching to HD only ends on our adj. control arms, check your std ends.

A friend/customer shot me a picture of some completely destroyed standard rod ends they purchased a few years back. I've been on the fence about no longer offering the standard ends because of the issues they have with squeaks and wearing out. With competitors offering the standard rod ends I figured to stay competitive with them I'd keep it as an option but at this point I have changed that stance and we will only offer the HD ends from now on.

On that note, if you have the standard ends on ours (or any other for that matter) it's worth crawling under the car and checking them out. If you see any wear it's probably a good idea to replace them with our HD rod ends which the link to is below. I know they seem pricey but I promise you those are pretty much my cost after parts, fees, and shipping...especially with them on sale now.

Your standard ends may be fine, it seems to be hit or miss with how they wear (mine were fine for years and still decent when I pulled them off the car just as maintenance) but are worth taking a look at to be safe.

Here are the pics comparing the two...

The HD one is on the right. As you can see the shank portion is much thicker and is also consistent across. The standard one steps up a bit at the ball. I believe the other control arms on the market use the same style standard rod end so you should be able to tell with theirs also.

There is also usually some color around the joint on the HD one also for the lining. These are orange but I believe I've had some that are white in the past.
