Yeah I don't really try and do this but in the 3K I just seem to accelerate faster than most do. If the person is just wanting to speed and not race then I let them go after I reach my desired speed. It just seems extremely rare people accelerate faster than me.....unless I'm at NG. lol

I have a rotary now, so it has actually negative torque. Takes a 6500rpm 2 step launch to keep pace with traffic around here. S2k's still hole shot me though.

You guys make me feel ridiculous. I DD my 6 speed vr4 under 2000 or even 2500 RPM's when pulling away from the light.

Never. Accelerating quickly from a stop is a huge waste of gas. It amuses me to no end watching the guy that has to holeshot it every time, weaving in and out of traffic...only to ultimately end up in my rear view. Tortoise and the hare.

Then again, why get a car like this if you're concerned with wasting gas?

Voted no, never. But on very rare occasions I will take off fast. Usually the cars around here are not worth playing with, so I just go slow.
