Yes out of 5 meanings 3 of which match your argument. Unfortunately you chose to assume meaning into my statement.
LOL the Trojan war was a war of the gods in Greek mythology...
Cold War was a bitchfest that never actually was a war. A bunch of posturing.
Civil wars, including ours had a very large religious base to them. In ours the north disagreed with the south as to the biblical stance on mans freedoms as a part of what caused it. Most are a power struggle between two religious ideals that try to impose their will to gain a larger base. This is evident in the differing religious bases in Iraq, Afghanistan, many of the countries in historical Europe, China, and many other areas in the world.
History is riddled with conflicts based on beliefs. There was far more blood shed happening in history than in the industrial, and post industrial age. Hell there are stories that collar one of the largest religions in the world as a tool to gain control over the masses. Look how the Spanish Catholics used religion to plunder South America. It is your right to disagree.
Religion as I describe earlier in my eyes is no different than any government. Yes there is a faith base of rule, but it is interpreted very much to the advantage of the humans in charge.
