Late follow-up question, but I have to pose a philosophical question for you.

So if you can forgive them of all their transgressions on Earth, than will they go to heaven? (Based on your religion).

If God will only forgive under certain circumstances, while you do not require that, does that make you better than God? Philosophically speaking, its impossible to be more forgiving than God, and you cannot be better than him.

Can you admit that if it were your child, wife, or other family member that this occurred to, you would at least have a lapse in this forgiveness? To believe you would forgive someone without lapse in all circumstances is too Jesus like for any man.

Might want to make clear what you think regarding events in Boston, Jeff.

These guys were nobody's freedom fighters.

Sorry mate I was referring to the peoples of Boston attitude to the IRA. As I said the events of last weekend are tragic & I would not wish to see that happen anywhere. Jeff --------------- MY Original post-------------- "This is a tragic time and my heart goes out to the families of the two dead and the many seriously injured, but what saddens me even more is that if this had happened back in the 1970's Boston would not have been the second largest contributor to noraid with collection buckets in many bars collecting money for the IRA terrorists to make nail bombs that killed many in the mainland UK & northern Ireland. Simply chucking some change into a bucket would not have seemed so romantic as the sheer terror of what these bombs can do would have been witnessed first hand. Jeff "

Still doesn't exactly leave a valid point. Few wars were religious based. Most things including robbery, rape, murder and so on are because of selfishness and greed. You can blame a religion, but humanity is to blame, not religion.
